EDF has complied with an improvement notice issued following an incident at Hartlepool Nuclear Power Station when two employees came into contact with pressurised hydraulic oil while carrying out maintenance on a system joint.
EDF has now demonstrated to Office for Nuclear Regulation (ONR) that it has suitable arrangements in place for undertaking this type of maintenance work.
ONR issued the enforcement action under Licence Condition 28 (1), (6) & (8)).
