The Department for Work and Pensions’ (DWP) Minister for Transformation has appointed Lynne Clow as a Non-Executive Director (NED) to the Board of the Office for Nuclear Regulation (ONR) for a five-year term.
Lynne is an HR and operations professional with a proven track record at senior executive level, across the energy, financial services, technology development and manufacturing sectors. Until 2022, she led on a wide range of strategic HR and operational matters including a number of change management and business transformation projects.
Lynne currently holds NED roles in the public sector in Scotland and a private sector Oil and Gas company: Highlands and Islands Airports Ltd and Dundee Airport Ltd; the Scottish Prison Service; and Ithaca Energy PLC.
Lynne is a graduate of the University of Strathclyde Business School and Napier University and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
She started the role at ONR on 9 February 2026.
