What's new on the website

We are satisfied that AWE Plc has successfully addressed a safety concern at the Aldermaston site allowing us to close an improvement notice.

Our enquiries identified shortfalls in the risk assessment, fire safety and firefighting arrangements, and fire detection arrangements in a building at the Dungeness A site.

Following the notice being served, we are satisfied that suitable and sufficient arrangements are now in place.
