Key findings, inspector's opinions and reasons for judgement made
Two drivers and vehicles were inspected unannounced on their arrival at an in-transit storage facility at London Heathrow. The inspector carried out a review of the drivers' qualifications and documentation, the vehicles' placarding and marking, loading and emergency equipment. The inspector identified a number of examples of the dutyholder meeting relevant good practice in reducing risk to levels that are ALARP, and compliance with CDG2009, including driver training (ADR licence), vehicle emergency equipment and load securing.
The inspector identified one area of non-compliance per vehicle, both regarding the vehicle placarding/marking. These were raised and discussed during the inspection.
Conclusion
Isospeed is required to provide to ONR evidence that the identified non-compliances have been resolved by 21st Sept 2026. The non-compliances will be tracked to completion via a Level 4 Regulatory Issue.
