Key findings, inspector's opinions and reasons for judgement made
This inspection was the first of a series of thematic inspections on the FY 26/27 inspection plan, focussing on provision of professional advice. The inspectors reviewed a range of topics and identified a number of examples of OnePhoton Ltd. meeting relevant good practice and meeting the requirements of IRR 17 as they relate to the duties of a Radiation Protection Adviser, and of CDG 09 and ADR, as they relate to the duties of a Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser. The inspectors identified several areas where OnePhoton Ltd. demonstrated compliance with the requirements of CDG 09 and ADR, including production of an annual report, and monitoring client organisations’ compliance with the requirements governing the carriage of dangerous goods.
The inspectors identified no statutory non-compliances. However, informal advice was provided on 1 specific detailed aspect of OnePhoton Ltd.'s arrangements.
Conclusion
The inspection findings were presented to OnePhoton Ltd. at the close of the inspection.
The inspectors judged an overall inspection rating of 'Green - no formal action' was appropriate overall for this inspection, as relevant good practice was generally met, with only minor shortfalls identified, when compared with appropriate benchmarks.
