Key findings, inspector's opinions and reasons for judgement made
From the areas that were inspected during this inspection we are satisfied that NNB Generation Company (HPC) Ltd (NNB GenCo) and its Tier 1 contractor (BYLOR Joint Venture) are managing lifting activities in accordance with relevant legislative requirements. The inspection was focused on observing lifting activities in the field and on engaging directly with those controlling and undertaking these activities. ONR is satisfied that NNB has taken robust action following a number of recent lifting events and recommencement of lifting activities has been implemented in a controlled way, ensuring that lessons have been learned from these recent incidents.
Conclusion
Overall, based upon the evidence obtained during the inspection, lifting activities were observed to be well planned and controlled. The intervention has therefore been rated GREEN.
