Information requested
I am writing to make an open government request for all the information to which I am entitled under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (FOIA) and/or Environmental Information Regulations 2004 (EIR).
Consultee correspondence registered on West Berkshire District Council's Planning Portal on 6 January 2026 indicates an area of land relative to planning application no: 25/02186/FUL - Extension of Burghfield Sewage Treatment Works to be include new tanks, plant and machinery, new security fencing, and associated landscaping, location identifier: Sewage Treatment Works, Sulhamstead Road, Burghfield, states: "The site is outside the DEPZ for AWE Burghfield...."
Subsequent correspondence being issued by the ONR dated 7 January 2026 states the ONR "... agree with their comments published on the 6 January 2026."
In respect of the above please provide evidence pertaining to the ONR's position, as recorded in the above correspondence dated 7 January 2026, that the planning proposal is not located within the assigned DEPZ relative to Burghfield AWE.

Please note that the comments that were published by the West Berkshire Emergency Planning Unit on 6 January 2026 were incorrectly uploaded by West Berkshire Emergency Planning Unit. ONR has notified them, and they have since removed it from the website against planning application 25/02186/FUL.
The consultee comments that ONR said we agree with were published on the 6 January 2026 and are attached for your convenience.
