Key findings, inspector's opinions and reasons for judgement made
The inspector discussed the dutyholder's transport activity and identified key details regarding the material being transported. Due to identifying a number of non-compliances the inspection did not cover the full range of regulatory areas.
Conclusion
The inspector identified two non-compliances before stopping further review of the dutyholder's documentation/activities. These non-compliances related to Requirements of IRR17 Reg 7 (Management Arrangements) and IRR17 Reg 8 (Radiation Risk Assessments).
The dutyholder has been issued with a formal letter regarding IRR17 Reg 7 and an Improvement Notice regarding the Radiation Risk Assessment.
