ONR Technical Assessment Guide (TAG) Conference for Gloveboxes

The Office for Nuclear Regulation (ONR) in collaboration with the UK Alpha Resilience and Capability (ARC) Programme are delighted to announce the ONR Technical Assessment Guide (TAG) Conference for Special Nuclear Material Glovebox from the 10-11 February 2026

The Conference aims to bring together engineers, suppliers and safety professionals involved in SNM Glovebox related activities from design, manufacture, installation, commissioning, operations, examination, inspection, maintenance, and testing (EIMT) and decommissioning of gloveboxes within nuclear facilities, including reactors in order to advise and inform them on how the ONR inspectors intend to exercise their regulatory judgement/authority based on the contents within the National Standards developed for SNM Gloveboxes.

This two-day event is the first of its kind that that enables industry professionals and engineering practitioners from all sectors of the nuclear community to understand the new national standards on SNM Gloveboxes and how they will be used as well assessed by the ONR inspectors.

Take this opportunity to learn about standards and solutions to key SNM gloveboxes challenges and contribute to shaping the future of SNM Glovebox.
