Aim of inspection
This inspection was an inspection of LC7 and Operating Experience Feedback (OEF) at the Sizewell A site. The aim was to carry out a brief follow-up inspection to review compliance following a more detailed inspection carried out previously, and after a change in the OEF lead at site.

Key findings, inspector’s opinions and reasons for judgement made
I judged the adequacy of the Magnox Ltd Sizewell A site arrangements and their implementation against the expectations associated with Licence Condition (LC) 7 (Incidents on the Site). The inspection was devised to examine how the dutyholder ensures that relevant learning is embedded within the organisation and to determine if improvements to the Operational Experience and Feedback (OEF) arrangements have been maintained.
Sizewell A has a mature set of arrangements for LC7, and I was content that they are being implemented adequately on site. The site is continuing to make improvements in this area, with a new dedicated OEF lead in place, and an increased focus on event examination, trending and action resolution.
Conclusion
Overall, I consider that the Sizewell A site is continuing to make improvements in the implementation of the arrangements for LC7. The increase from a part time to a full time role for the OEF lead is welcome, and I observed several areas where this increase is bearing fruit in the analysis of events on site. I therefore judged that a rating of Green (no formal action) to be appropriate for this inspection.
