Executive summary
Purpose of Intervention
This planned intervention consisted of an inspection of the licensee, Magnox Ltd, against Site Licence Condition 7 – Incidents on the site at the Sizewell A licensed nuclear site, and an inspection against Licence Condition 28 – Examination, inspection, maintenance and testing at the Bradwell licensed nuclear site.
Interventions Carried Out by ONR
I assessed the adequacy of the licensee’s arrangements for incidents on the site made under LC7 and inspected the implementation of these arrangements at the Sizewell A site.
I also assessed the adequacy of the licensee’s arrangements for maintenance, examination, inspection and testing made under LC28, and inspected the implementation of these arrangements at the Bradwell site.

I found the arrangements for incidents on the site at Sizewell and the implementation thereof to be adequate.
I found the arrangements for maintenance, inspection, examination and testing at Bradwell and the implementation thereof to be adequate.
Conclusion of Intervention
I am satisfied from my inspection findings that Operational Experience Feedback, including the reporting of incidents on the site, is being adequately managed at Sizewell A in accordance with the requirements of site licence condition 7.
I am also satisfied from my inspection findings that maintenance, inspection, examination and testing is being adequately managed at Bradwell in accordance with the requirements of site licence condition 28.
