Are there maps available that show the nuclear site licence boundaries at Hunterston A and Hunterston B? I had a look on your website but couldn’t locate them. I could only find plans for Sizewell (under FOI request 202010043). If plans for Hunterston A and B are available, please could you e-mail them to me or send a link to the location on the website?

Under the Nuclear Installations Act 1965, nuclear reactors (and certain other types of nuclear installation) can only be installed and operated by an organisation that has been granted a ‘nuclear site licence’ in respect of that site. The location and extent of the licensed site is shown in a map which is a legal document attached to the nuclear site licence.
Please find attached the maps for Hunterston A and Hunterston B which show the licensed site area. The nuclear site licence area is marked in red on each map.
