Working with the UK's environment agencies

ONR works closely with the Environment Agency (EA), Natural Resources Wales (NRW) and the Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) to ensure nuclear sites remain safe from the effects of climate change.

As part of this joint working, the following climate change related position statements have been published:

• The ONR, EA, NRW and SEPA Position Statement on Use of UK Climate Projections 2018 (UKCP18) by the GB Nuclear Industry
• The ONR and EA Joint Advice Note on Principles for Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Management
