Aim of inspection
This inspection was an annual inspection of LC7 and Operating Experience Feedback at Sizewell A site as required by the extant DFW Strategy. The aim was to carry out a brief follow-up inspection to review compliance following a more detailed inspection carried out last year which was rated as Green under the ONR inspection rating guide.

Key findings, inspector's opinions and reasons for judgement made
This was a planned inspection of the licensee's arrangements for the notification, recording, investigation and reporting of incidents on the site made under Licence Condition 7 as required by the Decommissioning Fuel and Waste Sites Strategy.
The scope was limited to a review of changes and improvements and a review of findings and trends since the previous inspection, and inspection of a sample of investigation reports as the previous inspection had been rated as Green under the ONR Inspection Rating Guide.
There were no adverse findings or compliance shortfalls, consequently the inspection was rated as Green.
The conclusion of the inspection was that the licensee's arrangements made under LC7 and the implementation thereof remains adequate.
Conclusion
Overall, based on the evidence seen and discussions held during the inspection I am satisfied that the notification, recording, investigation and reporting of incidents on the site made under Licence Condition 7 remains adequate. Therefore, an inspection rating of Green under the ONR Inspection Rating Guide is merited.
