Executive summary
Purpose of Intervention
This was one of a series of planned Licence Condition (LC) compliance inspections of the Low Level Waste Repository Ltd site during 2021/22.
The aims of the inspection were to:
- Assess the adequacy of the implementation of the Magnox Limited (ML) management systems established under LC17.
- Assess the adequacy of the ML organisational capability as implemented and controlled under the LC36 arrangements.

I carried out an inspection of the licensee’s arrangements and their implementation for compliance to:
- LC17 Management Systems,
- LC36 Organisational Capability.

Key Findings, Inspector's Opinions and Reasons for Judgements Made
From a review of the licensee’s arrangements and the evidence examined I considered that the implementation of its arrangements for LC’s 17 & 36 is adequate.
Conclusion of Intervention
I am satisfied that the implementation of the licensee’s LC17 management systems and the management of the organisational capability under LC36 are adequate.
