Key Findings, Inspector's Opinions and Reasons for Judgements Made

My inspection at B36 and B300 provided me with assurance they were at an adequate standard of compliance with the requirements of Licence Conditions 32, 34 and 35. I made an observation regarding the apparent generation of an unnecessary waste stream in the form of 216 litre drums resultant from liquor transfers from B36, which will be followed up by the licensee.

Conclusion of Intervention

The licensee has generally adequate arrangements for the delivery of LC35 decommissioning. I intend to complete a follow up inspection of a number of ongoing decommissioning projects as part of my scheduled September inspection.
