I met with key personnel to discuss the duty holder’s progress in compliance with changing requirements between IRR99 and IRR17.

The intervention was performed in line with ONR's guidance requirements (as described in our technical inspection guides) in the areas inspected.

Key Findings, Inspector's Opinions and Reasons for Judgements Made

No matters were identified as requiring immediate regulatory attention during the conduct of the compliance inspection.

The findings identified during the inspection were minor and have been put forward to ONR for consideration as Regulatory Observations.

Conclusion of Intervention

No matters were identified as requiring immediate regulatory attention during either the routine meetings with key duty holder personnel, or during the conduct of the IRR17 compliance inspection.

Based on the sampling undertaken during the IRR17 compliance inspection, I am satisfied that the licensee has adequate arrangements in place under recently enacted IRR17.
