I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request the following information:

For each financial year between 2015/16 and 2018/19, please could you provide the following information for each of the following Site Licence Companies: Springfield Fuels Limited; Urenco Nuclear Stewardship Ltd; EDF Energy

  1. The number of complaints of bullying and/or harassment and/or discrimination made to your HR department by members of staff
  2. The number of complaints of bullying and/or harassment and/or discrimination made to your HR department by contractors
  3. For each complaint, please could you provide a brief description of the nature of the complaint (i.e. discrimination on religious grounds, sexual harassment etc)
  4. The number of cases of alleged bullying and/or harassment and/or discrimination made by members of staff which resulted in a complaint being lodged with the employment tribunal
  5. The number of cases of alleged bullying and/or harassment and/or discrimination made by contractors which resulted in a complaint being lodged with the employment tribunal
  6. The number of cases of alleged bullying and/or harassment and/or discrimination made by members of staff in which resulted ACAS was involved to settle the case
  7. The number of cases of alleged bullying and/or harassment and/or discrimination made by contractors in which resulted ACAS was involved to settle the case
  8. The number of cases of bullying and/or harassment and/or discrimination complaints settled before being heard at an employment tribunal
  9. The outcome of the cases which were heard at an employment tribunal (i.e. case found in favour of the complainant, no case to answer, compensation awarded etc)
  10. For all of the above information, please could you specify whether it relates to a complaint of bullying, harassment or discrimination
  11. For all of the above information, please could you specify whether it relates to a member of staff or contractor
  12. For all of the above information, please could you specify which Site Licence Company the information refers to.

  3. The amount of money spent in external professional advice for these complaints
  4. The amount of money spent to settle bullying and/or harassment and/or discrimination complaints out of court
  5. The amount of money awarded to complainants in bullying and/or harassment and/or discrimination

    complaints heard at an employment tribunal

I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 to request the following
information.

For each financial year between 2015/16 and 2018/19, please could you provide the following information for each of the following Site Licence Companies: Springfield Fuels Limited; Urenco Nuclear Stewardship Ltd; EDF Energy

  1. The number of deaths by suicide of people who had been members of staff or contractors at the company
  2. The number of deaths by suicide of people who had been members of staff or contractors in the six months leading up to their death

For all of the above information, please could you specify which Site Licence Company the information relates to.

Information released

We can confirm that, following a review of our paper and electronic records, ONR does not hold the information you have requested.

Any such information would ordinarily be recorded as internal human resource matters therefore we suggest contacting the individual nuclear site licensees who may hold the information.

In addition, we wish to refer you to ONR’s Annual Reports and Accounts which summarises any external cases we have considered under whistleblowing legislation, noting that details are limited in order to protect the strict anonymity of the whistleblower.
