You asked for:

In a previous FOI response (ref: 201410001), the ONR said it was aware of 3 cases so far in 2014 where employees at nuclear power stations had failed drug and alcohol tests. It said that there were two positive tests for cocaine and one for alcohol.

Please could you send me copies of all written correspondence that the ONR has had with nuclear power station operators regarding these three drug/alcohol cases.

NB: If certain parts of the correspondence cannot be released due to personal information or any other FOI exemption, please can you black-out the offending passages, citing the exemption, and nevertheless release the remainder of the correspondence.

Information released

ONR can confirm that it holds the information in question; however it is being withheld under the following exemption:

Section 40 - Personal Information.   If the information were disclosed to a member of the public, it could contravene one or more of the data protection principles, a request must be refused.  It is an absolute exemption, so is not subject to a public interest test.
