Question 4: Where is the radioactive metal sourced from? is it from Sellafield or other nuclear installations?

Response 4: The metal processed at the facility is sourced from Sellafield and other UK nuclear facilities.

Question 5: Are there any limitations on end use of recycled metal or is it sold to the open market for any use?

Response 5: If the recycled metal meets the criteria for release the metal is then allowed to be further processed, although how it is subsequently used is not known to ONR.
