All information related to the risk/probability of flooding at the Dungeness nuclear power complex at Dungeness in Kent in the period March 1, 2012 to March 1st 2013

Information released

I can confirm that the Office for Nuclear Regulation (ONR) may hold the information you requested. However, we have identified 121 documents which comprise Intervention Reports, Licensee documents, supporting reports, interventions etc. that may be within scope, but we would have to read through them all in order to ascertain whether or not this is the case. The bulk and the complexity of the material means that a very considerable amount of specialist inspector time would be needed to examine material, consider whether any of the exceptions under the Environmental Information Regulations apply e.g. for personal information, commercial sensitivity and for national security matters, and if appropriate, redact that material. The estimate of the amount of time which this would take is in excess of 40 hours.

We consider that this request is manifestly unreasonable under Regulation 12(4)(b) of the Environmental Information Regulations, because the resource required to answer it would require an unreasonable diversion of resources from the provision of the public services for which ONR is mandated.

However, if you would like to refine your request, we would be happy to consider it as a new request.

Exemptions applied
