The Freedom of Information Act (FOI) and Environmental Information Regulations (EIR) give you the right to request official information held by ONR. If you cannot find the information you require via our website, you can submit a written request for information.

Security vetting

ONR does not accept requests for initiating the security clearance process from individuals. Requests for clearances must come from a recognised nuclear industry corporate sponsor who is subject to personnel security regulation by ONR.

If you have a query concerning the current status of your security clearance, you should contact the security team in the organisation that sponsored your clearance application or which has taken responsibility for its ongoing management.
